I originally came in to purchase a specific 24 Tiguan. I was Scheduled for a “VIP test drive appointment” and the rep confirmed that they had the vehicle at 9:50 am on the day of my appointment, and I arrived At the dealership 10 minutes later for my appointment. Upon arrival I was Told the vehicle had been sold 5 days earlier and they tried to sell me something else. After a couple of days they were able to find a similar vehicle with a different color interior than what I wanted, but I agreed To purchase. However, the SOS button and VW service associated with it wasn’t activated on it and according to the sales person someone in service had to activate it (they were closed at the time). He set me up for an appointment and claimed it would be a quick process to activate. I took it to my appointment on 11/1. After waiting 2 hours I was told that it could not be activated and that I had To bring the vehicle back and drop it off for at least a half day for it to be troubleshooted. They agreed to give me a loaner during this time but said they didn’t have one available yet so I’d be notified when one was available so I could Drop off the vehicle. Today is COB on 11/4 and no appointment has been made to resolve the problem and my VW car net is not active.
